Kratos Performance is a locally owned gym and was founded in 2016. We are conveniently located in Forest, Virginia with easy access from Lynchburg, Bedford, and Campbell. At Kratos, fitness meets community and sweat meets success! We are more than just a gym; we are a supportive space where you can unleash your inner champion and achieve your health and fitness goals. Our dedicated team of certified trainers and instructors are here to guide and inspire you on your fitness journey, every step of the way.

Sweat, smile, and give it your all in one of our many dynamic group fitness workouts. Work on specific goals with our Personal Training or Small Group Training sessions. Utilize our top-of-the-line strength, cardio, and functional gym equipment to create your own path to success with our Open gym memberships. Recover like a pro with our infrared sauna and cold plunge tub.
We offer a full-service smoothie bar, acai bowls, coffee and espresso, and supplements. We have amenities such as locker rooms, showers, childcare, and saunas.
At Kratos, we bring the small gym community feel, but provide the big gym amenities.
Need a pick-me-up before a HIIT workout? Grab a coffee and get hyped to push yourself! After your workout, you can replenish your muscles and recharge your mind by sipping on a smoothie from our Fuel Bar. If you are on the go and need to reset, we have showers and locker rooms for you to use! If you are a busy parent who still wants to get some movement in, we also offer childcare. Overall, our amenities are designed to enhance your workout and support your fitness goals.

Interested in speeding up your recovery? Increasing your energy? Elevating mood? Decreasing inflammation? Enhancing focus? Come take a quick dip in our cold plunge tub! Sauna and Plunge sessions are available ala cart, or included in many of our memberships for no extra charge!

Our Infrared saunas provide a deep, penetrating heat to warm and relax your muscles and joints directly. Infrared waves penetrate deeper into the body, promoting relaxation, improved circulation, pain relief, and detoxification in much less time than traditional saunas.
Smoothie bar
Our in house Fuel Bar serves up made to order, whole ingredient smoothies and Acai Bowls topped with fresh fruits. You won’t find any syrups, purees, or premade paste behind our bar! Our Fuel bar is open to the public so make sure to stop by, call in an order, or look us up on DoorDash for delivery!

TIM WAMSLEY M.S. OWNER/TRAINER
M.S. in Health and Human Performance.
NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS).USA Weightlifting Coach (USAW)
Background: M.S. in Health and Human Performance.
Tim has 13+ years in the health, research, and fitness industry. He worked as a Personal Trainer under NCAA D1 Strength and Conditioning coaches at Virginia Commonwealth University, and later as an Exercise Physiologist at the Salem VA Medical center. He co-authored a study on the effects of exercise on aging and presented preliminary findings at two national conferences. In 2017, he founded Kratos Performance to leverage his fitness expertise and passion for helping others.

Kat Wamsley, Trainer
ACE Certified Personal Trainer
Kat has been athletic since a young age - playing competitive volleyball through middle and high school, Irish step dancing, and was a collegiate crew athlete during her time as a student at Liberty University. Since becoming a Personal Trainer in 2022, Kat has worked with several pre/post natal clients, helped numerous people lose weight through sensible exercise and nutrition programming, and works weekly with elderly clients at a local assisted living center.
"I've had the privilege to experience firsthand the benefits of actively choosing a healthy lifestyle, not only for myself but also with my family and friends. Being a part of a small fitness community like Kratos for years and choosing to make the personal investment in my health and knowledge has allowed for greater opportunities, new personal goals, lasting friendships, and a thankfulness for the amazing things our minds and bodies are capable of. KOREY KOLLASCH, TRAINER
B.S. Exercise Science; Ph.D. Education; NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist
Korey has 20+ years of experience as a strength and conditioning coach at Iowa State University and as a track and field coach at Athens (2004) and Beijing (2008) Olympics. He worked with a diverse range of clients, including youth, high school, competitive athletes, individuals with disabilities, those rehabbing from injuries or surgeries, and middle-aged and senior-aged adults looking to improve their health and body composition.

Avery Bullock
Certified Exercise Physiologist, Boxing Level 1 instructor, and a Certified Holistic Nutrition Coach
Avery brings 11 years of personal training experience to our team. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Liberty University in 2016 and has since worked with clients from all walks of life.
Avery is passionate about helping clients move and function at their best - reducing chronic pain, improving movement patterns, building strength, and gaining mobility so they can feel confident in and out of the gym.
She's always had a drive to push beyond her comfort zone, from running ultra-marathons to participating in CrossFit, and she brings that same spirit to her coaching-helping others safely challenge themselves so they can show up well in every area of life.
In addition to her Bachelor's degree, Avery’s has training as a Certified Exercise Physiologist, Boxing Level 1 instructor, and a Certified Holistic Nutrition Coach. She's currently working toward her kettlebell instructor certification as it’s her favorite tool in the gym. -

Graham Helton
CSCS, XPS, CSNC, CPT, USAW L-1 Personal Trainer and Strength Coach
Graham is a strength and conditioning coach with over six years of experience helping clients build muscle, lose fat, and perform at their best. He specializes in strength training, athletic performance, and general fitness, and holds a variety of well respected certifications from NSCA (CSCS), Exos, NASM, and USAW.
“Whether you’re an athlete chasing peak performance or someone ready to take control of your health and stay fit, I’ll create a custom plan that moves you forward week by week. My coaching style is direct, supportive, and goal-focused. You’ll get structured programming, real accountability, and the tools to stay consistent, no matter what life throws your way.” -

Kailey Fontine
ISSA Certified Personal Trainer
Kailey is a certified personal trainer through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) and loves working with people in all stages of their fitness journeys!
She’s a firm believer that exercise should be challenging but FUN and should be designed in ways to help people feel strong and confident in themselves while reaching their goals -

Elizabeth King
ACSM Certified Personal Trainer
Elizabeth has been a personal trainer for almost a year, first at D1 training in Chattanooga, and now at Kratos Performance! She graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor's in Exercise Science, and is currently working towards her Master's in Athletic Training at Liberty! She is a certified exercise physiologist through ACSM. Elizabeth loves weightlifting, running, and anything to stay active! She just ran her first half-marathon in April and loved it :). She loves helping people of all ages reach their fitness goals, whether it's through youth training or training adults for longevity. She enjoys sharing her passion for exercise with others and celebrating with them when they achieve those goals!

Kody Tatlcok
NASM-Certified Personal Trainer
Kody has 5+ years as a NASM-certified personal trainer. He’s also spent 4 years coaching basketball and baseball at the middle and high school levels! He loves working with people of all fitness levels, from weight loss to muscle building and everything in between! He also loves training athletes and helping clients push through mental barriers. The most important thing as a trainer is helping somebody hit a goal they never thought was possible! Outside of training, Kody loves being outside, spending time at the lake, running (sorta) and weightlifting! He always welcomes new challenges and relies on his faith to help push myself further mentally and physically!
